CEAC 2023 | Kyoto

CEAC 2023-Kyoto on March 17-20, 2023

2023 3rd International Civil Engineering and Architecture Conference (CEAC 2023) was successfully held in Kyoto during March 17-20, 2023! Since some people could not travel to Kyoto, CEAC was also broadcasted simultaneuusly online. The conference consist of 2 keynote speeches, 5 invited speeches, 1 best paper competition, 1 best student paper competition, 1 poster session and 12 oral sessions. Presenters from over 16 countries and areas gathered in Kyoto as well as online platform. Participants had in-depth communication on relevant topics during the 4-day event. Thank you for everyone's support and participation. Special thanks extended to all the speakers, every individual and committee members for their contribution to make the conference a success.

Conference Photos

On Marh 18, Prof. Tan Kiang Hwee (National University of Singapore, Singapore) made the opening remarks online via Zoom, and Prof. C. W. Lim (City University of Hong Kong, China) made the opening remarks at onsite room in Kyoto. As conference chairs, both of them sent their warmmest greetings to every participation and expressed sincere appreciation to all who have contributed to the conference. After the opening ceremony, Prof. Tan Kiang Hwee chaired the first 3 online speeches, which were delivered respectively by Prof. Chimay Anumba (University of Florida), Prof. Ippei Maruyama (The University of Tokyo & Nagoya University, Japan), and Assoc. Prof. Kyoung Sun Moon (Yale University, USA). 2 onsite speeches were deliverd by Prof. C. W. Lim (City University of Hong Kong, China) and Assoc. Prof. Manny Anthony Martin Taguba (National University-Manila, Philippines).
On March 19, anoter 4 excellent invited speeches were delivered respectively by Assoc. Prof. Guang Ye (Delft University of Technology, Netherlands), Assoc. Prof. Mohammad Arif Rohman (Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember, Indonesia), Assoc. Prof. Alcestis Rodi (University of Patras, Greece), and Prof. Abeer Samy Yousef Mohamed (Effat University, KSA & Tanta University, Egypt). After each speech, participants actively asked questions and had in-depth discussions and communication with the speakers.
The 4-day event came to an end on March 20. Several awards were announced during the closing. Best paper award, best student paper award, best reviewers, best oral presentations were announced respectively by Assoc. Prof. Galina Gorbacheva (Bauman Moscow State Technical University, Russia) and Assoc. Prof. Alcestis Rodi (University of Patra, Greece). Partial awards were announced by Prof. C. W. Lim (City University of Hong Kong, China) during the dinner banquet on March 19.
