The City University of Hong Kong (CityUHK) is a public research university in Kowloon Tong, Kowloon, Hong Kong. It was founded in 1984 as the City Polytechnic of Hong Kong and formally established as the City University of Hong Kong in 1994.
The university currently has nine main schools offering courses in business, science, engineering, liberal arts and social sciences, law, and veterinary medicine, along with the Chow Yei Ching School of Graduate Studies, CityU Shenzhen Research Institute, and Hong Kong Institute for Advanced Study.
It was ranked among the Top 10 Universities in Asia by Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) in 2025, and was also accredited as the Most International University in the World by Times Higher Education.

CityUHK is situated at the heart of Kowloon Tong. The Campus is accessible by various means of public transportation. Taking MTR is one of the convenient ways to reach the Campus, it is just a 5-minute walk from Kowloon Tong Station via Festival Walk Shopping Centre. CityUHK is also just 30-minute ride away from the Hong Kong International Airport (airport).
